Stages Of Pipe Relining
For all your plumbing needs, Prime Pipe Relining offers a simple, fast and reliable solution. Our trenchless pipe repair (also known as pipe relining / rehabilitation) is a much better option than the traditional methods, and is the perfect choice for issues such as blocked drains, damaged pipes and pipe junctions.The process involves soaking a flexible textile liner in resin, inserting it into an inversion drum, and then releasing it into the damaged pipe using pressurised air or water. This completely lines the inside of the old pipe, eliminating any existing or potential damage. The resin cures at normal temperature, but can be speeded up with warm water or steam. This creates a new, watertight pipe within the existing one, creating a strong, permanent solution.Once the process is complete, our robotic camera surveys the pipe and slowly cuts out the junctions that have been covered over. This usually only takes one or two days and is done from Prime Pipe Relining’s trucks, which are equipped with the latest technology. Homeowners don’t need to be present during the process, as our trucks have power, air and water already installed.
