Stages Of Pipe Relining
At Prime Pipe Relining we believe that the key to long-lasting plumbing solutions is trenchless pipe repair (also known as pipe relining or rehabilitation). This method has numerous advantages over traditional plumbing, making it the perfect choice to clear blocked drains, patch up damaged pipes and repair junctions between pipes.Unlike traditional plumbing, our pipe relining process does not disturb the surrounding area. We use a flexible textile liner that is soaked in resin and inserted into the inversion drum, before being released into the damaged pipe using pressurised air or water. This method completely lines the inside of the old pipe and eliminates any existing or potential damage. The resin cures at ambient temperature, although the process can be sped up by passing warm water or steam through the liner.Once the new pipe lining is complete, we can survey the pipe and slowly cut out the junctions that have been covered over by the CIPP process and any other branch lines. This process usually only takes a day or two max and is done out of our trucks that are equipped with the latest, most advanced technology.
