Stages Of Pipe Relining
When it comes to plumbing problems like blocked drains, patching up damaged pipes, and repairing the junctions from pipe to pipe, Prime Pipe Relining offers the perfect solution – trenchless or no-dig pipe repair (also known as pipe relining/rehabilitation). This method of pipe repair has plenty of advantages over traditional plumbing, making it the clear choice for fixing any plumbing issues.Rather than excavating the damaged pipe, a flexible textile liner is soaked in resin and then inserted into the inversion drum. The liner is then released into the damaged pipe using pressurised air or water, completely lining the inside of the old pipe. This eliminates any existing or potential damage and creates a completely new watertight pipe. The resin cures at ambient temperature, but the process can be sped up by passing warm water or steam through the liner.Once the new pipe is in place, our state of the art trucks are used to survey the pipe and slowly cut out the junctions that have been covered over by the CIPP process and any other branch lines. This process usually only takes a day or two max and can be done without the home owner having to leave their premises, as our trucks are equipped with power, air and water.
