Stages Of Pipe Relining
At Prime Pipe Relining, we recognize the advantages of trenchless, no-dig pipe repair or pipe relining/rehabilitation over traditional plumbing. This innovative method is the perfect solution for clearing blocked drains, patching up damaged pipes and repairing pipe-to-pipe junctions. Unlike traditional plumbing, the newer pipe relining process doesn't come with the same baggage. The process involves soaking a flexible textile liner in resin and then inserting it into the damaged pipe with pressurised air or water. This completely lines the inside of the old pipe, eliminating existing or potential damage. The resin cures at ambient temperature, but this can be sped up by passing warm water or steam through the liner. After curing, a new watertight pipe is created within the old one, providing a strong, permanent solution. Once pipe relining is complete, Prime Pipe Relining's state-of-the-art trucks will survey the pipe and slowly cut out the junctions that have been covered. The process is usually finished in a day or two and can be done with power, air and water from our trucks, allowing home owners to go about their day without disruption.
