Stages Of Pipe Relining
At Prime Pipe Relining, we understand that traditional plumbing and pipe relining both strive to get your plumbing infrastructure working again, however, the latter offers a number of advantages over the former. Pipe relining (also known as trenchless or no-dig pipe repair) is the clear choice for clearing blocked drains, patching up damaged pipes, and repairing the junctions from pipe to pipe. The process begins with soaking a flexible textile liner in resin, which is then inserted into the inversion drum. It is then released into the damaged pipe using pressurised air or water, and completely lines the inside of the old pipe. This eliminates any existing or potential damage, and creates a completely new watertight pipe within the old one. The resin cures at ambient temperature, but the process can be sped up by passing warm water or steam through the liner.
