Stages Of Pipe Relining
At Prime Pipe Relining, we understand the value of trenchless, no-dig pipe repair (also known as pipe relining or rehabilitation). This method of plumbing has plenty of advantages over traditional methods when it comes to clearing blocked drains, patching up damaged pipes, and repairing the junctions from pipe to pipe. Unlike traditional plumbing, pipe relining does not require excavation, which helps to save time, resources, and money. The process involves inserting a flexible, resin-soaked textile liner into an inversion drum and then releasing it into the damaged pipe using pressurized air or water. This method lines the inside of the old pipe, eliminating any existing or potential damage and creating a new, watertight pipe within the old pipe. Once the new pipe lining process is complete, a robotic camera surveys the pipe and slowly cuts out the junctions that have been covered over by the CIPP process and any other branch lines. This process usually only takes a day or two and is done in one of Prime Pipe Relining's trucks, which are equipped with the latest, most advanced technology. Homeowners are able to leave the premises and go about their daily routine as our trucks are equipped with power, air and water.
