Stages Of Pipe Relining
Pipe relining (also known as trenchless pipe repair or pipe rehabilitation) offers a range of advantages over traditional plumbing methods, making it the ideal choice for clearing blocked drains, patching up damaged pipes, and repairing pipe-to-pipe junctions.Unlike traditional plumbing, pipe relining does not require excavation or demolition of existing structures, and is much faster and more efficient. The process involves soaking a flexible liner in resin before inserting it into an inversion drum and then releasing it into the damaged pipe, using either pressurised air or water. This lines the interior of the existing pipe, effectively eliminating any present or potential damage. The resin cures at ambient temperature, though this time can be shortened with the use of warm water or steam. Once cured, a new, watertight pipe is created within the existing pipe, providing a strong and permanent solution. To complete the process, a robotic camera is used to slowly cut out the covered junctions and branch lines. This usually takes no more than two days, and is done using the modern equipment in Prime Pipe Relining's trucks. Home owners are free to go about their daily routine while we work, as our trucks are equipped with power, air, and water.
