Stages Of Pipe Relining
When it comes to plumbing issues such as clearing blocked drains, patching up damaged pipes or repairing junctions from pipe to pipe, Prime Pipe Relining is the clear choice for trenchless or no-dig pipe repair (also known as pipe relining/rehabilitation). Compared to traditional plumbing, pipe relining has numerous advantages, and is the modern method of choice. At Prime Pipe Relining, we use the latest technology to reline your pipes. We start by inserting a flexible textile liner soaked in resin into an inversion drum and releasing it into the damaged pipe using pressurised air or water. This process completely lines the inside of the old pipe and eliminates any existing or potential damage. The resin then cures at ambient temperature, but can be sped up by passing warm water or steam through the liner. This creates a new watertight pipe within the old one that is strong and permanent. Once the new pipe lining process is complete, we use a robotic camera to survey the pipe and slowly cut out the junctions that have been covered by the CIPP process and any other branch lines.
